The Illinois Sales Tax Holiday was a bit of extra help lowering back-to-school expenses, now comes news of a little bit more for parents in one school district.

For just two days, August 17th and August 18th, all elementary students in Belvidere, Illinois' District 100 will be able to get a free haircut before going back to school for the new year.

Free Back-to-School Haircuts for Belvidere District 100 Elementary Students

Thanks to a grant from the District 100 Foundation for Excellence in Education, which has awarded thousands of scholarship dollars to District 100 students and to educators, the district is able to offer these free haircut appointments.

That last word is probably the most important piece of information I have to share with you about these haircuts.
