No plans this weekend? No worries! You can catch Shakespeare LIVE right here in Rockford, Illinois.

Ok, so William Shakespeare himself is no longer alive, so he won't be here in Rockford, but one of his most popular plays will be, Julius Caesar.

You may know Rock Valley College's Starlight Theatre for their huge summer productions, but they actually perform another time, in the fall on their Ray Castle Stage.

This is next to the main stage you've seen those huge musicals at each summer, and this weekend Starlight Shakes is taking over the Ray Castle Stage.

Starlight Shakes presents Julius Caesar has performances tonight, tomorrow and Sunday.

Tonight and tomorrow's shows ate at 7:30pm and Sunday's show is a 2pm matinee.

If you're like me, you think you know all about Julius Caesar and then you realize you've never seen the play and you only know he gets killed. (Spoiler alert? Did you not know he gets killed?)

Starlight Theatre puts on Starlight Shakes each fall (a different Shakespeare show each year) as a 'pay what you think the show deserves' ticket price, giving anyone on any budget a chance to enjoy the theater, and if you think it's a really great show, maybe you'll donate a really high ticket price!

You can get tickets for the final performances at RVCStarlight.Ludus.com.
