The schedule of stops for the 2015 Canadian Pacific Holiday Train is out and If you enjoyed the train last year, you'll be in for more of the same this time around.

If you don't what the Canadian Pacific Holiday Train is according to the CP website "The Holiday Train is all about raising money, food and awareness for local food banks to help those less fortunate."

That's great and while I do have good news to provide, the Holiday Train will run again through Wisconsin and Illinois.

The bad news is that it won't be making a stop anywhere within 100 miles (via I-90 E to Gurnee) of Rockford.

The run through the Midwest begins on Friday, December 4 when the train arrives in Gurnee, Illinois at 3:50 p.m.

Sadly, that's it for Illinois. The train immediately heads for Wisconsin, where they will make stops in Sturtevant, Milwaukee, Wauwatosa, Hartland, Columbus, Portage and Wisconsin Dells.

Unfortunately for those of us in Rockford, our best chance to see the train this holiday means a weekend trip to the Dells. In case you're making plans to go, the train will be in Wisconsin Dells on Saturday, December 5 at 2:45 p.m. with a 3:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. event and show time.

Go to the Canadian Pacific website for more dates and times.
