IDOT Announces Lane Closures On 251 Through Friday

IDOT workers will be performing pavement repairs all week on a stretch of Illinois 251 through September 6, 2019.

It may impede your week if you travel north on 251 near the Illinois border but it'll be smooth sailing (or driving) when the work is completed. IDOT just announced there will be lane closures on IL-251 between 75 (Gardner Street) and the Illinois/Wisconsin border.

The Illinois Department of Transportation announces that lane closures will be installed on
IL 251, from IL 75 North to the Stateline in Winnebago County, Illinois. The lane closures will be in both directions beginning Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at 8:00 AM and conclude by 3:00 PM Friday, September 6, 2019.

Take your time so workers remain safe during this pavement project and all construction projects.
