Illinois 5-Year-Old Boy Missing from Crystal Lake Found Dead
Breaking news this afternoon, the body of a five-year-old boy who has been missing for days in Crystal Lake has been found.
WGN-TV is reporting that the body of Andrew 'AJ' Freund has been found.
In what has been a very disturbing case, the FBI moved to Woodstock, IL this morning from their original search in Crystal Lake.
The Chicago Tribune says the body was found this morning in an 'unincorporated area near Woodstock.' The story specifically states the body was found near Gayle Drive on farmland by woods and a stream.
WGN was at the house this morning and reported investigators moved things out of the home including a shovel, two brown bags and a mattress.
The rest of the specifics are not currently released, but the Crystal Lake Police Department is holding a press conference at 1 p.m. to discuss the case.
