As in, looking to get out of town for a minute, maybe a weekend trip with your partner or friend group?

If you're flying out of Rockford, your options are limited kind of. There are plenty of stops in Florida, Arizona and of course Las Vegas but that's about it.

It looks like Allegiant is going to change it up a bit in 2024 because it's adding a stop in Nashville, Tennessee.

It's incredible news for anyone who has made the 7-hour drive to Nashville just for the weekend.

Imagine if you and your friends wanted to have a girls' weekend in Nashville and could just as easily fly from Rockford instead of driving or even worse yet, attempting to travel out of O'Hare or Midway.

This addition to RFD will bring a whole bunch of people who want to get away for a weekend and want something other than Florida or Vegas.

It's a different option that I personally know is going to be a big hit. There's a reason why I used that example about the girls' weekend. That's because I've seen it in action with my wife and her friends and I'm certain I'm not alone.
