Concert tickets have gotten outrageously expensive these days and it's mind-blowing people are willing to pay over a thousand dollars for a single ticket that's not even front row.

I've experienced my fair share of concerts in my lifetime, but the most expensive ticket I've ever bought was $350 to see The Weeknd at Summerfest in Milwaukee many, many years ago.  Yes, I wanted to impress a boy, so I bought the tickets for us and had the time of my life!  It was worth it, not gonna lie.

Over the last few years, concert ticket prices have skyrocketed.  People were paying, literally, thousands of dollars to get nosebleed seats at the Eras Tour.  That's insane!

Now, I'm just trying to go to Summerfest by myself for my birthday.  A little splurging on concert tickets never hurt nobody, right?  Well, it ALMOST hurt my bank account after seeing how much my ticket cost after taxes and fees just to experience Benson Boone one time in my life.  The ticket was center view, right behind the pit, and basically front row.  $297.  Not a price I'd normally pay, but it's a birthday gift!  I gotta treat myself.

After taxes and fees? Over $441!  That's wild.  I remember when concert tickets were like $25.  Where did the times go?!

Apparently, this day in age the average concertgoer is willing to pay $113 on a single concert ticket, but if it's their favorite artist upwards toward $214, and that could be nosebleed or obstructed view.  To be in the same room as the artist you're really wanting to see can cost you your entire life these days.

How much would you pay to sit and breathe the same air as your favorite artist?
