Say it ain't so! Dunkin' Donuts is eliminating some of your favorite menu items, as of March.

In an effort to streamline their menu options, Dunkin' Donuts has announced that are eliminating 10% of their menu offerings. The menu reduction will take place chain-wide and went into effect today in New England and will expand to Illinois locations by mid-March.

According to the Boston Herald, Senior Vice President Chris Fuqua said the changes will be implemented in order to "to maximize profitability for franchisees."

Say goodbye to:

  • smoothies
  • afternoon sandwiches (turkey, cheddar and bacon, ham and cheddar, tuna and chicken salad)
  • the Big N’ Toasted and Angus steak and egg breakfast sandwiches
  • flatbread items
  • some muffin offerings
  • bagel and cream cheese combinations
  • peach, caramel and mocha flavor coffee shots

Okay, am I the only one that did not realize Dunkin' Donuts offered peach shots? The good news is that you enjoy these items, you have about eight more weeks to fill up on them.
