Last Friday Dean was arrested for selling 520 packets of what is thought to be synthetic cannabinoid to an undercover DEA agent.

After her arrest agents searched Mystic Enchantments, a Springfield store Dean managed and seized close to 11.8 kilograms of what they believe to be more synthetic weed.

Neighbors never suspected her of being a drug dealer and were left shocked by the news.

One neighbor, Beth Leach, told foxillinois.com that Dean seemed like such a nice person. Going on to say:

"I just always thought she was a grandmother that went and watched her grandkids."

This isn't the bad grandma's first run-in with the law either. Back in 2009 Dean plead guilty for her involvement in a multi-state prostitution ring, where she received a year of probation.

In her most recent arrest, the Department of Justice says Dean is just one of eight arrested following an investigation of the distribution of synthetic cannabinoids in central Illinois.

More arrests could follow, as this investigation is ongoing.
