Illinois is Broken, This is the Best Way to Fix the State
Illinois is an absolute mess. No budget fix in sight, we're taxed out, and people are leaving the state by the 100s. Maybe it's time for Illinois to be dissolved and just go away.
John Kass, a writer for the Chicago Tribune, thinks this is exactly what should happen to the Land of Lincoln. And I think he's right.
The best thing to do is to break Illinois into pieces right now. Just wipe us off the map. Cut us out of America's heartland and let neighboring states carve us up and take the best chunks for themselves. - John Kass
Take a look at how John suggests Illinois should be divided up.
Because I was born and raised in Madison, Wisconsin, this excites me, and John Kass nailed exactly why.
- I've always loved Chicago, now known as South Milwaukee
- Wisconsin would now have 3 pro baseball teams, 2 pro basketball and football teams and a pro hockey team: The Beloit Blackhawks, the Sheboygan Bulls, the Milwaukee Cubs, the Whitewater Sox and the Fon Du Lac Bears.
