Illinois Man Wins Same Lottery Game Twice in 15 Years, Claims $1.3M Jackpot
A Chicago-area man is celebrating an extraordinary case of deja vu after winning the same Illinois Lottery game for the second time in 15 years, this time claiming $1.3M Jackpot.
According to the Illinois Lottery, the anonymous winner purchased a Lucky Day Lotto ticket during a stop at the Oswego BP gas station. The Quick Pick ticket matched all 5 numbers drawn in the June 11th evening drawing; 1, 13, 19, 27, and 35. It earned him the top prize of $1.3M.

The winner said buying the ticket was a spur-of-the-moment decision.
“I just stopped by the store for a drink and thought, ‘Why not?'” he said in a statement released by the Illinois Lottery.
At first, he struggled to believe what he was seeing.
“I didn’t believe it at first. I asked myself, ‘Am I dreaming?'” he said. “Once I scanned the ticket and realized the numbers matched, reality set in.” [patch]
Remarkably, this wasn't his first big win playing this lottery game.
About 15 years ago, when Lucky Day Lotto was known as Little Lotto, he won $45,000.

The married winner said the jackpot will help him and his wife purchase a new home while providing some financial stability as they prepare for retirement. He added that they are grateful for the unexpected windfall and believes their children will appreciate the family's good fortune as well.
The Oswego BP will receive a bonus of $13,000, which is 1% of the jackpot. All because they sold a winning lottery ticket!
