A mother from Algonquin allegedly fired a rifle at her flat screen TV because her kids wouldn't stop watching music videos.

Imagine sitting comfortably in front of your TV, enjoying a nice; cold beverage of your choice and then out of nowhere, your mom or wife comes in with guns blazing and shoots up your TV.  Seems a little extreme, right? Well, it can happen to you. Not saying it will, but it can.

A mother in Algonquin is quickly learning that maybe unplugging it or taking it away would've been a better option.

Jennifer Ullery was sick and tired of her kids, ages 5, 11, and six, watching too much TV. Hoping it would get them to watch less, she allegedly walked into the room where they were watching a Primus music video, and fired "multiple rounds" at their 50 inch flat screen. Thankfully, no one was injured.

The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services notified police and after their visit to Ullery's home, they noticed there had been no attempt to clean the shards of glass from the TV; they also found the rifle, magazine and ammo. The kids are now staying with another relative.

What do you think her punishment should be? Perhaps anger management classes will be in her future.

And what does she have against Primus?
