“A Baker’s Dream”: Illinois Woman Wins Ultimate Kitchen Appliance Upgrade

It's not every day you get a call that you won a brand new kitchen appliance after you've been using one from the mid 2000s for years!

For Mother's Day, we gave everyone the chance to enter to win some awesome prizes their moms would totally love.  There could only be one winner, though.

Maybe the universe knew Alaina Neal needed an appliance upgrade, but maybe it was just pure luck.  Either way, she never expected to win against hundreds of other participants.

Alaina walked out of our radio station with a brand new KitchenAid Mixer and an overnight stay at Chula Vista in Wisconsin Dells!

I think the universe knew Alaina needed to "mix" it up a little bit in the kitchen.  With the new Mixer she won, Alaina said she'll be baking tons of cookies with her mom.

Alaina's grandma handed down this mid-2000s KitchenAid Mixer [photo below] to her years ago, but it still worked just fine.  It's over 15 years old!
