Illinois’ Newest Fun Night Out is Boozy Milkshakes and Retro Bowling
Some nights out call for hitting the lanes, but maybe not the giant bowling center vibes. Time to get a cocktails, great food and retro bowling night planned.
Seven Ten Social is the newest spot for a fun night out.
Eat, Drink, Bowl
It's on at Seven Ten Social in Hyde Park. This new business at 1055 E. 55th Street in Chicago is a replacement for Seven Ten Lanes. The same owner closed the lanes and has now reopened with a brand new vision.
If this is how the neighborhood bowling center is gong to evolve, I'm all in!
I grew up in my neighborhood bowling center, bowling every Saturday morning until I reached high school. Then, I became an employee.
Finally getting to see what goes on behind the pins is one of my life's highlights.
Seven Ten Social is not my childhood bowling center... and that's a cool thing!
The bowling has an amazing retro vibe, but scoring remains high tech. I may still know ho0w to bowl a bit, but I've completely lost the ability to keep score quickly. For a place fully embracing a 'way back' vibe, I'm thankful their scoring system is not from way back.
Seven Ten Social teamed up with one of Chicagoland's best BBQ joints for a great menu for everyone.
Excuse me while I love on this fried chicken sandwich from Lillie's Q.
Great cocktails, including boozy milkshakes.
