Known for its baked goods and all-day breakfasts, Perkins lands high for omelets. There are about 45 locations in Illinois, so chances are you’ve passed one while searching for coffee.

The Santa Fe omelet and the bacon & cheese get solid praise. I’ve never seen one in person, but apparently, they exist. Another place I had to Google to see if they're in our state. There are several Original Pancake House locations in Illinois.

#2 – Huddle House: Omelets in Theory

Philly and Western-style omelets lead the way at this Southern-based chain. Just one problem—good luck finding one unless you're in southern Illinois. Only two locations: Litchfield and Marion.
