If you're waiting on trying this thing, you might want to hurry up because checking out this attraction in the fall is a no-go.

While I'm almost certain Six Flags Hurricane Harbor is shut down before it gets too cold, usually Labor Day is the cutoff, if it was open into the fall and winter months you'd end up cold and wet.

But since there are still a few more days, weeks, months (come on baby, MONTHS!) you still have time to check out a new attraction at Six Flags that was just called a ride "we can't wait to try."

Love Exploring's New Theme Park Attractions in the US We Can't Wait to Try listed 31 different rides from all over America saying "From epic thrill rides to family-friendly adventures, we reveal the new theme park attractions we can't wait to try." Many of the featured rides are at Disneyland, Disney World, or Universal Studios.

A few are at Six Flags locations scattered across the US but only one from Illinois managed to get a mention.

Six Flags Hurricane Harbor in Gurnee, and their new ride Tsunami Surge.

In case you didn't know Six Flags calls Tsunami Surge the "tallest water coaster in the world at a height of 86 feet! "

Six Flags:

Reach a top speed of 28 miles per hour over 950 feet of enclosed tunnels and open air slides featuring three gravity-defying blasts and five breathtaking drops, along with five hairpin turns. Experience mind-blowing bursts of color with AquaLucent visual effects that intensify the ride experience.

If that's not the kind of ride you're looking for, maybe theme parks or in this case, water parks aren't your thing.

Love Exploring adds "A behemoth of blue, green and white stripes, it's quite an addition to the park's skyline too."
