Spending loads of money on movies that are bad is the worst. So before you take mom out to a movie this weekend make sure you are taking her to the right movie.

There are three brand new movies this weekend in Rockford and I'll hook you up with all of the information that you will need to make an informed decision.

"Neighbors"

Rated R - 1 hour 36 minutes

What I think it's about: Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne are married and have a baby. Zac Efron moves in next door with a bunch of his frat brothers. Then the married couple and the frat dudes have a conflict. There will be many keg stands, swearing, and hijinks.

"Legends of Oz: Dorothy's Return"

Rated PG - 1 hour 28 minutes What I think it's about: Dorothy returns to Oz. She is animated though, so it's weird for her.

 "Mom's Night Out"

Rated PG - 1 hour 38 minutes

What I think it's about: This is a story about a mother who is allowed to go out. She is urged by her children that it is OK to leave the house and enjoy life. Sad mom-ness ensues (she misses her kids).
