I love having a Dash Cam to catch moments like this in Rockford.

This morning, on Spring Creek Road, I had the pleasure of pulling up next to a very impatient driver in Rockford at the intersection of Parkview Avenue.  As the light was about to turn green, the driver cut me off to turn right onto Parkview.

See, here they are slowly creeping from my left.

Then, they speed up to go completely around me.

When people ask why I wait a few moments before going when the light turns green, this driver is a prime example of why I stall.

I get it.  Sometimes you wake up late in the morning, catch every red light, and it's a race against time to get to work.  That doesn't mean you can start making up your own rules on the road.  It creates so much unnecessary risk.

Think about it: Is a few seconds really worth the potential danger or frustration for everyone else on the road, or even yourself?

I'll answer it for you: no.  No, it's not.

As impatient as we get on the road sometimes, driving recklessly is just dumb.

If this driver would've waited any longer to make the decision they did, I probably would've hit them and then we both would've been seriously late for work.  That doesn't sound like a fun time, does it?

So, shoutout to the impatient Rockford driver who cut me off on Spring Creek this morning.  You not only got to your destination faster, but you got your own Dash Cam moment!
