Incredible Before And After Photos Of California Drought

California is in the midst of the worst drought in state history. Lakes and rivers are drying up, but as a guy who lives in Illinois, it's easy to not really know what's happening.

I ran across these before and after photos and I was astounded. These beautiful lakes and rivers in California are almost completely gone.

It doesn't appear that there is any help insight either.

However, and since it's California, and some of the residents there are pretty wacky, the California swimming-pool-and-spa industry is trying to capitalize on the drought.

Yes, they want Californians to put a pool in. Those behind the campaign believe it will help put an end to the drought.
