Yesterday was my entry into my late twenties, because it was my half birthday. Apparently, some people think this isn't a real "thing."

Half birthdays are totally a thing. I mean, I'm not having a party or expecting presents, but remember way back when you turned 7 and a half? That was a BIG deal. So if it counted then, it counts now, too, right?

Steve Shannon is totally on my side of this debate. He said he was trying to find some pre-mixed margaritas and pour half of it out and give me half a marg jug for my half birthday. Unfortunately, he couldn't find any with alcohol in them already. He also went on a search for a half birthday card, which they do not sell in stores.

I pointed out that you could just buy a birthday card and rip it in half, and thus it would be a half birthday card, but, I appreciated the search, it's the thought that counts.

Now, Sweet Lenny on the other hand, doesn't agree. While Steve and I were talking, I said, "Hey Lenny, it's my half birthday!" and Lenny looked across the room and said, "Michelle, that's not a thing."

Dude. It's totally a thing. I thought maybe I should ask you guys too, just to be sure that I'm right...
