It Looks Like Smokey Bones Is Nearly Ready To Open In Rockford
If you've been dying to get your BBQ fix on, and you don't know where to go, this might be your spot.
Opening in the former Lone Star Steakhouse location, East State Street, Smokey Bones is bringing some of their national BBQ flavors to Rockford.
It looked like last night was a "soft opening" for the Rockford Smokey Bones. If you don't know about Smokey Bones:
At Smokey Bones, we specialize in three things: good food, good drinks, and good times.
Yelp users gave Smokey Bones positive reviews too.
Love their buffalo chicken sandwich it's soo good, and their diamond margarita is to die for.
I wish that it was possible to give a restaurant more than five stars. This place definitely earned that from me!
While other Yelp-ers, welp, not so much.
The online ordering and pick-up experience we had here was terrible. The online order was not ready on time.
Worst experience ever!!!! I don't know why I continue to give Smokey Bones another chance because every time I'm disappointed. Customer service is terrible!
Remember, the reviews above aren't pointed at the new Rockford restaurant (Mount Prospect Smokey Bones location), so take them with a grain of salt, erm, a grain of dry rub.
They have yet to announce an official opening day quite yet. Stay tuned!
