Every time I cruise by on I-90, I notice a new listing for a performer at a concert venue. Whether it's a comedian or musical artist, the performer's calendar is booked.

That lack of a significant venue might be why the Hard Rock Cafe in Chicago is officially shuttering. Don't get me wrong they have the room to host events but nothing the size of Hard Rock Rockford.

Anyway, Hard Rock Cafe has been open on Ontario Street in the Windy City for 39 years, but yesterday, it was announced that it will close at the end of March.
It's a bummer, but it's a wonder that a restaurant has been open that long in a constantly changing area.

With the impending closure of the Hard Rock Cafe, a restaurant that has been open since the Reagan Administration and just months after the Chicago Bears won their first and only Super Bowl, something else will be needed to fill the space.
You have to wonder what's next, but considering it's Chicago, that building won't be empty for long, right? Right, Chicago?
