It’s ‘Cult Classic’ Weekend at the McHenry Outdoor Theater

Tis the season to show your kids movies from before they were born.

The resurgence of the drive-in theater, isn't just a change to see a move outside your house, it's also a chance to show your kids some movies from before they were born.

Honestly, every single drive-in movie announced in the last few weeks has been at least 15 years old, if not more.

I know it's really a licensing thing, but I like to think of it as a chance to take those kids back in time.

This week, the McHenry Outdoor Theater is hosting, 'Cult Classic Weekend,' featuring 'The Burbs' and 'The Big Lebowski.'

I've actually never seen either... maybe I should go!
