Three Michigan resorts are in the running for "Best Wine Country Hotel in the U.S." in a USA Today and 10best poll.

A panel of experts nominated twenty U.S. hotels that "provide a perfect place to relax over a glass of wine after a day of touring and tasting in wine regions around the country," and now it's up to a public vote.

Chateau Chantal in Traverse City, Grand Traverse Resort and Spa in Acme,  and the Inn at Blackstar Farms in Suttons Bay are all up for the honor.

Here's USA Today's praise for each Michigan resort:

Wine Cave & Extensive Shoreline Make This $7.4M Cheboygan Home Pure Michigan Heaven

As much as this 9300 square foot, 5 bedroom home has all those extras that make it worthy of a multi-million dollar price tag, a few perks set it apart. The lower level living area is an entertaining haven. There you will find a theater room, an entertaining area, and an extra bedroom, but as they say...wait there's more. The lower level features an incredible wine cave and bar like nothing you've seen before.
Not to be outdone, the 180-acre property is just as spectacular with 2000 feet of pristine shoreline on its own mini peninsula right where the Cheboygan River splits into the Black River.
