It's only a matter of time before these bad boys land in Missouri. The US Air Force's deadly new stealth bomber, the B-21 Raider, just successfully took flight for the first time and there's video to prove it.

I saw CBS News share the word that the military's modern replacement for the current B-2 stealth bomber fleet has now successfully completed its first test flight. Video from Matt Hartman on X (formerly known as Twitter) shows this impressive sky weapon.

What connection does the new B-21 Raider stealth bomber have with Missouri?

When the B-21 Raider was first announced, Northrop Grumman shared that Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri was the likely destination where these bombers would be stationed. They also described what this plane is capable of delivering to the enemy:

Capable of delivering both conventional and nuclear payloads, the B-21 will be one of the most effective aircraft in the sky, with the ability to use a broad mix of stand-off and direct attack munitions

It has been described as the "future of long-range military strikes". I'll take their word for it. Bottom line is you don't want to be on the receiving end of what the B-21 Raider can deliver. It's exciting that this new plane will be based in Missouri where the B-2's have been for years.
