Illinois’ Most Boring Place is Only Boring if You Hate Tulips

Frankly, I hate it when a destination gets classified as "boring" since that's really one person's opinion. In the case of a new ranking that says one destination in Illinois is the "most boring", beauty really is in the eye of the beholder especially if you're partial to tulips.

I'm gonna give Roadsnacks the benefit of the doubt with this one. Their recent "10 most boring places in Illinois" list is funny and interesting. For someone like me, they're probably right. This Illinois haven would probably bore the living daylights out of me. But, if you love tulips, I'd highly recommend a road trip once the weather gets good in spring. It's Spring Grove, Illinois, home of a quite amazing tulip festival.

If you look at Spring Grove, Illinois' photo gallery, people there don't look bored. Once again, if flowers are your thing, it's a great place.

I'll add another element of excitement to Spring Grove, Illinois. It's been known to also be the destination for police chases that start in Chicago.

Good? No. Boring? Nope and that's the point.

Looking at what Roadsnacks defines as their "Saturday Night Science", they seem to think being married and old are boring. I don't know about you, but trying to keep all of my family happy is not boring. Perhaps my wife would have a different opinion, but I'm afraid to ask her for fear that she'll tell me the truth.
