A pair of burglars in Illinois broke into a store and walked away with a $100,000 heist, and you won't believe what they stole.

I started collecting trading cards when I was a kid. I mostly went after baseball, but I also had some football, Star Wars, and Kiss, too. I wish I had saved them or at least taken care of them better. I'm sure they would be worth some money nowadays. Unfortunately, all they are now are memories.

According to Fox 32 Chicago...

Burglars stole more than $100,000 worth of collectible trading cards after breaking into a Northwest Side shop early Monday.

 

If you've got the right collectible trading cards, they can be worth a lot of money. One of the biggest types of cards is Pokémon. The collectors go crazy over those. I can't believe the value of some of them. It's hard for me to wrap my head around the idea that one of those cards is worth literally thousands of dollars.

Of course, anything of value, the thieves in Illinois are going to try to steal it. I can't believe all the stories I see about big heists involving collectible trading cards, especially Pokemom. The latest was in Chicago, where a pair of burglars broke into a card shop and walked out with $100,00 worth of trading cards. That's a lot of money. I'm guessing they aren't keeping them for their own private collection.
