I'm a huge fan and it's definitely my weakness. I could eat it every day. I believe a lot of people in Illinois feel the same way. It's the perfect treat during the Midwest summer. One of the main reasons I believe ice cream is so popular in Illinois is because of the amount of little mom-and-pop type stands throughout the state. This time of year is so exciting because they all start opening for the season. Last weekend, I headed up to Rockton for the opening of the DairyHaus. It was so delicious. I recommend one of the newest flavors, Fruity Pebbles. My nephew started working there so that's an extra bonus.
