Residents are purchasing the legal weed, and it's generating a lot of extra money for their states. The federal government has even mentioned it as a possibility. Now, there are some areas in America that are talking about doing the same with magic mushrooms, also known as Psilocybin mushrooms.

The Wilmington Police Department remains vigilant in its quest to remove criminals from infiltrating their community with dangerous and deadly illegal drugs.
Wilmington Police revealed on Thursday that a three-month-long drug investigation resulted in this week's arrests of Gerald Richardson and Jordyn Bingham on eight felony charges apiece for delivery of a controlled substance.
The police and law enforcement agencies across the United States are always making drug busts. In certain states and regions, you can actually guess what illegal substances are in question for the arrest. In Illinois, it's usually something like crack, cocaine, heroin, and fentanyl. Every once in a while, it might be for an outrageous amount of cannabis. So, that makes this major drug bust in Illinois rather unusual.
The police department in Wilmington is trying to keep their town clean by fighting to keep the drugs off the street. Their latest bust was rather surprising. They arrested a pair of suspects selling magic mushrooms. That's not something you hear every day. Phish wasn't even in town. The cops got a tip about the illegal operation. After an investigation, they were able to make the arrests.
