Most people in the Midwest know about Summerfest in Milwaukee, but those grounds on Lake Michigan are also home to many more summer events in Wisconsin.

Every summer, I look forward to my trip to Milwaukee's lakefront for Summerfest. It is THE festival of the summer. You can't beat all the live music and several stages. Did I mention the food? Delicious. Plus, Milwaukee is much easier to navigate than Chicago. A lot of people go to Summerfest, but there are many other events on those grounds, too.
