Deep Freeze: Subzero Temps & Frostbite Risks This Week in Illinois
Cold weather has already brought snow, bitter wind chills, and hazardous road conditions to Illinois, but now the National Weather Service warns that by Monday night, things are going to get really wintery.
Frostbite Risks: Wind Chills Dropping to -12
By Tuesday, wind chills are expected to plummet to as low as -12 below zero, posing a frostbite risk to exposed skin within minutes. It's going to get downright arctic in Illinois.

Tuesday forecasts are expected to bring subzero temps before climbing to the high teens later in the day.
