Keep Your Christmas Tree Greener With These Two Weird Things
We had a real Christmas tree twice. I think one time it feel down, and maybe another time it died before Christmas, which is both embarrassing and frustrating.
Maybe we would've continued to buy real trees if my family knew how to successfully keep the trees looking awesome-tastic through January.
We should've raided the cabinets for Sprite and aspirin.
What? Yeah!
If you Google "Sprite Christmas tree" and you will get over 415,000 results, including this interview with a Utah Christmas tree seller, who says to get that tree in water as soon as possible, then add some lemon-lime soda and/or a few aspirin to the water to help it grow.
I feel like Christmas trees have a hangover after they get cut down. Poor trees, we've all been there.
Will you try this in your tree's water?
