Know A High School Teen? 'Chicago Fire' Needs Extras Now

Do you have a teenage family member, currently in high school, that has been bitten by the acting bug?

You know, they want to be in all the plays and musicals at school, and want to be in just about anything?

Well, this is a perfect opportunity to get that student of yours who dreams of being in TV or movies in front of the camera.

Well, not in front, but you'd be in the background but hey, you'll still be on TV.

NBC's Chicago Fire is, you guessed it, filming right now in Chicago and they are looking for extras.

The best part, it's a paid nonspeaking role. All you have to do is one, apply and two, if selected get paid to stand in the background.

I'd do it in a heartbeat. However, I'm no longer in high school.

The job description according to Project Casting is "Searching for AFRICAN AMERICAN HIGH SCHOOL TEENS, AGES 16 TO 20, MALE AND FEMALE, to work one or two days on our next episode of Chicago Fire. We will shoot from Thursday, April 22nd thru Tuesday, May 4th."

Since the show has already begun shooting if you're interested, my best advice is to apply for the spot today.

It looks like Chicago Fire is filming for their 11th season on NBC. On TV since 2012, it seems the show has got some serious staying power. It's currently rated a 7.9 out of 10 according to IMDb.
