What they were able to confirm, were the safest and least safe cars on the road. And, the data was also compiled for every state. These three vehicle brands outperformed most other brands on a national level as well. Overall, NHTSA's data proved,

Subaru continues to be a stand-out car brand, with the fewest fatal crashes in 17 U.S. states.
