Little Caesars ‘Saved The Day’ For Family Feeding Rockford Homeless
A medical emergency at Miss Carly's earlier this week caused a delay in their normal food prep.
Due to the unforeseen circumstances, the food that was normally prepared at Miss Carly's, 1125 5th Avenue, to feed homeless Rockford residents on Monday had to be put on hold.
In a rush, a call was put it to Little Caesars "to bulk up our meal" according to Miss Carly's Facebook.
This is where Little Caesars came in like real bros.
You canceled the credit card transaction when you found out who it was for...Not only did it help our humble budget, but it meant a lot to the people we serve to know you care...It’s important to also remember that these small acts of kindness can have a ripple effect of positive change.
Miss Carly's mission is to empower those in need, one meal at a time. Besides three meals a week, Miss Carly's also offers clothing and hygiene items along with NARCAN and NARCAN training.
