Wait, Halloween Already? Spirit Halloween Opens in Rockford

Halloween is officially taking over Rockford.  I'm kidding, well, not really.  Spirit Halloween has made its way to State Street and I'm not sure how to feel about it.

In true Spirit Halloween fashion, they've found another vacant storefront to occupy.

They've officially opened its doors in Rockford, taking over the former Joann Fabrics location on State Street.  And yes, you read that correctly: THEY'RE OPEN ALREADY AND IT'S NOT EVEN OCTOBER!

Wait, Halloween Already? Spirit Halloween Opens in Rockford

If you're really trying to get ahead of the spooky season, now's your chance to scope out everything you want to impulsively buy and grab it before it's all picked through.

Here's my problem: HALLOWEEN IS OVER A MONTH AWAY.

Somehow, Spirit Halloween wiggled their way in Rockford again and set up shop without anyone really knowing.  I mean, at least I didn't know it was here until I was driving by Burlington yesterday.

I know Halloween fans are thrilled, though.  If you're the person who counts down to Halloween months in August or September, this is probably exciting news for you.  For a lot of us, we're asking, "Can't we wait just a couple more weeks?!"

We have Labor Day coming up.  There are plenty of warm days ahead.  School just started back up.  People haven't closed their pools yet!  Let's not skip so far ahead, maybe give us time to enjoy the moment and ride out the rest of summer as much as we can!

I guess Halloween waits for no one.  Oh, they're hiring, too!
