One Of The Best Towns In Illinois Is Having A Spring Carnival This Weekend

Who's ready to have fun in the sun?  It's been soooo nice the past few days and that's just the beginning!  Get outside and enjoy this beautiful weather!

Every year I wait for the hottest days to go to amusement parks and carnivals just so I can get a really good tan while walking around with friends.  Sounds lame, but having fun and tanning seems way better than staying inside all day.  That's why I'm pretty sure I'll end up going to Lombard, Illinois this weekend for their Spring carnival - I'm a kid at heart, don't judge!

LOMBARD SPRING CARNIVAL

The Lombard Carnival returns, May 12th - 15th from 5-10pm.  Ride exciting rides, eat a funnel cake, or play a game - there's something for everyone!

This carnival is organized by Windy City Amusements.  They've been operating since 1977. Their family has over 100 years of combined experience in the Amusement Industry. Wow!

They're offering FREE ADMISSION AND FREE PARKING!  All you have to do is pay for the fun.  Unlimited ride wristbands and food tickets are available for purchase once you arrive at the carnival.

One of my favorite things to get at a carnival is a funnel cake LOADED with strawberries and topped with whipped cream! YESSSSS.  Especially on a hot day, boy do those hit the spot!

Along with funnel cakes, you might find some other carnival foodie favorites to buy; cotton candy, caramel apples, slushies, lemonade, soft drinks, popcorn, corn dogs, pizza, soft pretzels, nachos!

Windy City Amusements also says they have the best games available!  They better have this balloon darts game, I'm an expert when it comes to that one... no joke.

Featured on their Facebook page are the tall, fun slides that you can race down with your friends.  Those definitely are a big hit when you have a huge group!

Fun Houses and Carousels might even make an appearance at the Lombard Carnival!
