Mac & Cheese Flavored Popcorn is Coming [PHOTO]

Two of my favorite foods are being mashed up into one delicious product!

We've all had that orange-colored cheese popcorn before, but have you ever had mac & cheese popcorn?! Here's your chance! According to a new article from Delish, Act II is teasing bags of mac & cheese-flavored microwave popcorn. As of right now, all we know is that the new type of popcorn will come in boxes of 6 2.75 ounce bags. Here's a look at one of the teaser photos:

How will mac & cheese popcorn differ from standard cheese popcorn? We're not sure just yet, but I am looking forward to giving it a try! Delish says that Act II released a "ready-to-eat bagged Bacon Mac & Cheese Popcorn" a few years ago, so maybe it'll taste similar to that? Who knows! There's no word on when it will be released yet, but the post from junkfoodmom on Instagram says it's "coming soon." We will keep you updated!

In the meantime, there are some mac & cheese popcorn recipes online if you want to make it yourself, including one from Rachael Ray. All you need is some popcorn, melted butter, black pepper, and a package of mac & cheese powder from a box of mac & cheese. You simply mix the melted butter with the cheese powder, add in a little pepper, and then pour the mixture over the popcorn and toss it. Easy, right?
