Steph Curry Says Chicago Bulls Popcorn Just Misses the Mark
Outside of being one of the greatest NBA players ever, Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors is quite the popcorn aficionado.
I had no idea but while reading this story on Foodbeast about Curry and his love of popcorn I found out he's got a ranking system for each NBA stadium's salty treat.
I too am a purveyor of delicious popcorn as I have often found myself at a trash movie knowing the best part will be the popcorn.
So according to the surefire first-ballot Hall of Famer, what is the G.O.A.T. when it comes to NBA concession popcorn?
That goes to the Dallas Mavericks.
While there is an oft chance I at some point make it to Dallas for a basketball game (not likely) I'd prefer to find out what Steph thinks of the popcorn at the United Center.
Home of the Chicago Bulls, the United Center (UC) didn't rank too favorably on Curry's list of popcorn faves but it wasn't at the bottom either.
That spot is reserved for the Los Angeles Clippers/Lakers.
Curry doesn't think the popcorn is the worst, it's just not the best either. He gave the popcorn 3s (how appropriate) across the board with a lone four for its saltiness.
So what it sounds like Curry is saying about the popcorn is It's fine, not great, and won't challenge for the top spot. I'm sorry, are we talking about the popcorn at Bulls games or the Bulls roster?
In comparison, Curry gave the popcorn in Dallas all fives except when it comes to crunchiness which he scored the stuff a very respectable four.
I found a Yelp review of the United Center that referred to the popcorn at the game as "stale" so I wonder if Steph is just being nice or if Doug M. was just upset with his experience at the UC.
Where is the best spot for concession stand popcorn?
