MasterChef Junior Looking for Young; Aspiring Stateline Chefs

Move over mac and cheese and easy bake ovens, you're a parent whose got a real chef on their hands; a budding foodie who would rather have spatulas and whisks instead of toys. Does that sound like a kid you know? If you said "yes" and they're between the ages of 8-13, and they love to bake and cook (probably better than you) or they just like to be in the kitchen, then this could be their big break.

Gordon Ramsay wants your child to be part of his new competitive cooking show, MasterChef Junior.  The regional casting call will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2015 9am - 5pm at the Doubletree Suites Magnificent Mile, 300 E Ohio St in Chicago.

If you'd like your child to audition during the open call, you can apply here.

If you can't make it, you can make a video but the open call is your best option.  By the way, if you do attend the open call, tell your kid to be cool, confident, and wear an apron that showcases their personality. Good luck.
