Meeting Comedian Bert Kreischer in Rockford Illinois

I decided I'd check out Bert Kreischer's show in Rockford tonight, and little did I know I'd be meeting the man himself after the show!

This show was the first leg of his tour after taking a significant amount of time away from touring. It's always so cool to see a comedian test their new jokes on the audience to see if it's a hit or miss. With all the new material he had, it was all 100% a hit with Rockford.

Halfway through the show, Bert drops this bombshell: because it was the first show, he agreed to meet every single person after the show by his merch table. Yes, everyone!

That was insane because there were so many people at the show. How could he possibly get through EVERYONE? Right after he ended, everyone raced to get in line to meet him. It was wrapped around the entire BMO! It was crazy.

I stuck it out, waited for him to get through majority of the line, and then got in the very back to be one of the last to meet him. What a humble, down to earth, kind person. After meeting a few hundred people, I can't imagine how he continues to have a social battery left!

When it was my turn, I thanked him for giving our listeners the opportunity to win tickets to see his show. Without his generosity, moments like this wouldn't even be possible.

And yes, he was shirtless. The only way to meet the man himself.

I've met many celebrities in my life, and nobody has been as kind as Bert Kreischer. Well, Teddy Swims is easily comparable, though. Both give the same energy and seem to truly love what they do.

I really don't know how Bert does it. Meets fans, tours back-to-back shows, and still finds time to be with family. A POWERHOUSE of a human.
