Buyer of Michael Jordan’s $9.5M Mansion Desperately Slashes Monthly Rent
Michael Jordan's Highland Park mansion was on the market for 13 years.
It was recently purchased at a majorly discounted rate of $9.5M in December 2024.
While owning the greatest basketball player's former home would be super fun, the cost would be overwhelming for most of us.
Well, the guy who bought the place must have some buyer's remorse now, too.

Because he's already cutting the cost of monthly stays at the newly named Champions Point.
You read that right. John Cooper, the new owner of Jordan's old digs, is renting the place out.
I shared with you last month that he was offering to let folks stay at Jordan's old pad for only $230K per month.
Cooper also has a timeshare scheme that asks folks to buy in for a measly $1M to be part of "sports history" or some such story.
While Jordan is one of the biggest names in sports history, the fact that his mansion sat unsold for that long tells you it's not exactly the kind of spot people are interested in living in or, at the very least, renting.
Not to mention, Cooper, an apparent Chicago Bulls and Michael Jordan fan, scrubbed all mention of Your Airness, including removing the iconic Jumpman logo from the indoor basketball court in a revamp that needed to be strongly reconsidered.
For now, Cooper is slashing monthly rates to stay at the old Jordan mansion by $80K, knocking the price down to $150K, but I have a feeling that's still not enough.
Even with a massive price cut, staying at Jordan's mansion isn't a slam dunk.
Would you drop $150K to live like a legend?
