Ballin’ Like a Billionaire? MJ’s Former Illinois Mansion Is Now For Rent
I am not sure why someone would spend millions of bucks on a property and then turn around and try to rent it out, but hey, that's a story for a different time.
NBC 5 in Chicago reports that the owner, John Cooper, is now renting out Michael Jordan's former 37,000-square-foot Highland Park mansion to the public.
A rental fit for a champion
Just last month, Cooper tried to get people to co-own his Airness' former pad by offering the public the opportunity to purchase shares of the home for a measly million bucks.
I'm not in the realty business, but I don't think I've ever heard of someone trying to sell stock in a home. Maybe that's just me.

I've heard of timeshares before, but this doesn't sound like the same deal.
Michael Jordan's former home has a new name
Cooper has renamed Jordan's former pad "Champions Point," if you want to stay where the former NBA great laid his head, you can, but you better be a baller.
Because Cooper is asking for nearly a quarter million dollars to rent the place monthly, $230,000.

According to the listing, this nine-bedroom home is loaded to the gills and is perfect for events, entering, or hosting a "High-level business retreat."
Love college hoops? You should rent out this home
Most importantly, they want to rent it out to people who want to "elevate their game-day experience like never before," hyping up this place as THE place to get your March Madness on.

Whether or not Cooper finds someone willing to fork over the amount he's asking remains to be seen.
One thing is sure: if you want to "Be Like Mike," you better have some deep pockets.
