If you're going to a wedding by yourself, don't get your own hotel room. It won't be worth it. Ask around and find someone or someones to split the cost with. Even a fellow bridesmaid you only met a few times, believe me this is a good idea.

I realized this was the best way to go after one of my best friend's wedding. I had my own hotel room and only spent three hours in it. If you're fun you'll be part of the after-party and who knows, you might end up playing games in someone else's room all night anyway.

Don't waste your money!
