$1 Million Lotto Win Shocks Chicago Suburb Resident

An Illinois Lottery player in a Chicago suburb experienced “total shock” after discovering they won a $1 million prize.

After taking a hiatus on playing the lottery, they decided to throw in ten bucks on lotto tickets with the "extra shot" add-on for extra luck.  The jackpot was almost $12 million at the time!  Well, that was the best decision they made all week because they matched all six numbers on the Lotto Million 1 numbers, which made them an instant millionaire.

When they first checked their numbers, they thought it was just $1,000 they'd won.  Then, they scanned the ticket and it said a million.  They had to scan it a few times just to realize they really did win $1 million!
