Movie Filmed in Rockford Sets World Premiere at Nordlof Center

Here's some exciting news. Without Grace, a film written and directed by Rockford native, starring over 100 Rockfordians, has set a world premiere date.

Matthew Cichella's film, Without Grace was filmed around Rockford in September and October of 2019. Location shots included Saint Ambrogio Society, Hope and Anchor, Sheri's Place, Town Hall Lounge, Alpine Park and more, according to wrex.com.

With over 100 people from Rockford in the film, it's pretty cool that Matthew chose Rockford over Los Angeles, for the premiere.

The movie's premiere will be at Rockford's Nordlof Center at 118 N. Main on Friday, May 1, with encore presentations on Saturday, May 2 and Sunday, May 3.

Tickets go on sale January 31.
