New Golf Course Popping Up INSIDE Illinois City’s Downtown Hot Spot
It might not be super warm this weekend in Illinois, but you know what... you can golf inside instead of outside at this fun pop-up event.
Golf season is officially in full swing (did you like that pun?) but the weather we're expecting this weekend isn't quite what we want to see on the green.
You're in luck, you can golf inside instead, in downtown Rockford.

I know you're thinking... Michelle, what are you talking about? Where am I supposed to golf inside in downtown Rockford.
The answer is, basically everywhere.
The City of Rockford Firefighters Local 413 is hosting their first ever 'Mini-Masters' Golf event across downtown Rockford this Saturday.
There are nine different mini-putt holes throughout the downtown area that you can visit and golf at to win prizes and help raise money for the firefighters' charity.
I loved the idea when I first heard about it but I was even more in love with it when I saw the mini golf putting holes!
You were probably expecting generic putting greens you can buy anywhere, but these guys hand built the holes,
You'll want to make sure you're at District Bar and Grill to get things started. Registration begins at 11:30 and the fun starts at noon.

CJ's Public House will have a chipping contest with a chance to win a Yeti Cooler and District will have a hole-in-one contest, too.
You'll also be able to putt at Octane, Minnihans, Vintage, J&K's Lounge and Inzombia Coffee.
