Here's what new on DVD and on Netflix Instant Streaming for Tuesday, May 12.

The Cobbler (PG-13) - Adam Sandler repairs shoes for a living and finds a magical heirloom that transforms him into anyone whose shoes he's repaired once he puts their shoes on. Dustin Hoffman, Method Man, and Steve Buscemi are also in it.

Mortecai (R) - Johnny Depp is a quirky art expert asked by Ewan McGregor to help investigate the theft of a priceless painting the British government thinks he stole. Gwyneth Paltrow plays his wife, and Paul Bettany is his faithful manservant.

Blackhat (R) - Chris Hemsworth plays a hacker released from prison to help catch a cyber-terrorist. He joins an FBI's international task force, which includes Viola Davis and a sexy Chinese agent who acts as a love interest for him.

Still Alice (PG-13) - Julianne Moore plays a linguistics professor diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's. Alec Baldwin plays her husband and their kids are played by Kristen Stewart, Kate Bosworth, and Hunter Parrish from "Weeds".

New to Netflix Instant Streaming:

The Homesman (R) - Tommy Lee Jones wrote, directed, and stars in this western about a drifter rescued from being hanged by Hilary Swank. She wants him to help her escort three supposedly insane women on a five-week trip.

The Longest Week (PG-13) - Jason Bateman is disinherited by his parents, so he moves in with his best friend Billy Crudup . . . and complicates things by falling in love with Billy's girl, Olivia Wilde.
