New Outdoor Amphitheater With Camping Is Open Near Rockford

Now open near Rockford is a new outdoor amphitheater with camping.

I love going to concerts. I have really missed them. I am very excited to be able to hit some finally again this summer.

For some people, they enjoy golfing, playing cards, or fishing. For me, my hobby is going to shows. The more the better.

Outdoor Shows

If I have my choice, I much rather see a concert outside than inside. The atmosphere is so much better in my opinion.

Then taking it to the next level. My favorite place to see a show is at an amphitheater-type venue. Somewhere like Alpine Valley. That place is the best. There is nothing better than sitting on the lawn on a beautiful summer night watching your favorite band play live.

Unfortunately, shows at Alpine Valley are few and far between. Other similar venues close by, just do not have the same vibe.

Well, until I heard about this new place.

New Venue

I was recently talking to one of my "concert buddies" about what bands we might want to check out this summer.

Then, he tells me about this new outdoor place that he described as a "mini-Alpine." Well, I had to find out more.

The venue is called The Rythm Section Amphitheater in Mount Carroll, Illinois.

According to the ryhthmsectiononline.com,

Soak in the atmosphere at our open-air venue, where you’ll be surrounded by stunning landscapes while listening to top-notch acoustics."

Plus, they have camping onsite. Then you do not have to worry about driving home that night after the concert.

If you were thinking about giving the place a visit, this Saturday, June 12th might be a good day because Miles Nielsen and The Rusted Hearts will be performing there.
