New Starbucks Spring Frappuccino Slightly Misleading, But We Still Want It
Oh Starbucks, you are so creative... but why are you calling this frapp Cherry Blossom?
Starbucks is bringing a new flavor to your tasebuds, because why not right?
For a limited time only, you can grab a Cherry Blossom Frappuccino at Starbucks, but here's the thing, there isn't anything cherry about it.
I don't know about you, but cherry flavored stuff immediately makes me think of cough syrup... so why call this cherry without actually having cherry in it? Weirdness.
According to Starbucks, the drink is a "blend of sweet strawberries and cream with white chocolate sauce and matcha drizzle, topped with whipped cream and a sprinkle of matcha."
What's matcha? Yeah I didn't know either. It's basically green tea powder.
The drink is only available from today until March 20, so I won't be able to go get one... c'mon Lent please be over soon... but you can get one at any Rockford Starbucks location.
This is the first time we've seen this drink on U.S. Starbucks menus, but they've been popular in Japan since 2010.
